What are your design services?

J. Lynn designs services offers graphic design on many products. Whether you’re looking for professional expertise for your company, or you are a busy person and simply don’t have the time to do it yourself, I am here to help!

First, I will gather all the relevant details about your company or family needs. This can be done over the phone, with an email, or your can meet with me. I will then create a custom design concept – including a free proof – tailored to your project needs. The design concept will be ready usually in a week!

What is your pricing and fee structure?

As each project I work on is as unique as the business behind it, J. Lynn Designs does not offer package rates. We generally charge per project or at a standard hourly rate for our services. We invoice monthly with itemized statements, and for larger projects, ask for a 25% deposit.

Why don't you publish your prices for websites or online marketing services?

Online services are not treated equal. Each website or online marketing service has numerous elements needed to achieve the desired results. Different levels of technology and skill are needed for all these elements. Website design and online marketing is unique and the knowledge necessary to design, develop, program and publish a plan varies depending on its complexity. As such, the cost for each online service varies. I design everything from very simple text site with few graphics, to very complicated sites that provide a great deal of graphic interaction for its users and visitors.

I feel it is unfair to simply charge a flat-rate for any web related services. Each quote is developed to reflect the knowledge, skills, technology and time required to design each site or develop each marketing service as it is presented to us by my clients. What printing process do you use?

All of my products are printed using a four-color (CMYK) process.
The designs are not done on a home printer. I send your project to state-of-the-art, ink-based presses, resulting in unlimited color combinations and optimum print quality.

What paper stock do you use?

I recognize the importance of quality. I use only premium quality card and paper stock.

Business Cards: 80lb. Matte or Glossy card stock
Postcards: Premium, 80 lb. (215 gsm) glossy card stock.
Letterhead: Acid-free, 70 lb. weight, smooth finish matte text paper, 92 brightness.
Folders: 200-lb. (14-pt.) UV-coated card stock. Printed full-bleed, die-cut, folded and glued from a single sheet. Two 4 (H) glued pockets. Business card slit and reinforced sides.
Brochures & Flyers: 100 lb. text with aqueous coating.
Return Address Labels: Self-sticking; printed and delivered in sheets.
Envelopes: Smooth, bright white, 70-lb. weight.
Magnets: High-quality, vinyl material. Thickness is 0.4mm.
Desk & Photo Calendars: Premium, 80 lb. (215 gsm) card stock with a glossy finish.
Sticky Notes: 50-lb. (70 gsm) weight with adhesive strip on back. Bright smooth white color.
Note Pads: Acid-free, 28 lb. weight. Vellum finish, 92 brightness.
Note Cards & Holiday Cards: Premium, 80 lb. (215 gsm) card stock.

What kind of products do you offer?

I offer a wide variety of customizable, full-color quality printed products at the best prices. You'll find office products from business cards to letterhead; marketing tools such as postcards, magnets and brochures; and personal products including invitations, announcements, holiday cards, and fun family caricature products. Yes! You can request a sample of most products.

Can I see a proof before my project get printed?

Yes! You will always be asked to pre-approve your project before it gets printed.

Which shipping methods do you use?

For deliveries within the United States, I generally deliver via the US Postal Service. For orders that exceed a weight of two pounds, I generally deliver via UPS or DHL.
